I got these as a gift. Although they made an attractive gift, I am not happy with them at all. I keep all of my cookie cutters in a big cracker jar. After placing these cutters in the jar with all the rest, the plastic-y coating on the cutters is all dinged up and little bits have come off (although they've hardly been used!) So maybe I should not have stored them that way, but I think it's reasonable to expect cutters to hold up to that kind of treatment. Another problem is that the squirrel's hands are so tiny, that the cutter is not very functional. Points on the maple leaf get very narrow too. For these reasons, I think these cutters are half-baked. If you have a decorative use for them, great, but if not keep shopping.

These are very nice. I used them to cut dough to decorate pies with. They're attractive, functional, and well-made. The shapes are fairly easy to get the dough out of intact, especially considering the number of edges.The one thing to be aware (this may be good or bad for you): the item description implies that each cutter is approximately one inch by one inch or so... this is not the case. This could make them perfect for pie dough decorations. Instead, they are larger, maybe one-and-a-half to two inches long and wide. This makes them a bit big for pie decorations, but more appropriate for cookies.

I purchased this set after searching tirelessly for a squirrel cookie cutter - i know, don't ask. The squirrel's ears and hands are too tiny, so they would often break off in the cutter or in transport. The packaging was cute, and I'm sure the leaves and pumpkins will hold up better, but the squirrel cutter could use a redesign.
