I love this little tool! My 2 year old helps me make his sandwich and is excited to eat it! I can stuff whatever I want between the bread because if it's shaped like a train, my son will eat it! This works well, you do have to push hard but sandwiches are thick.

I have a sandwich cutter like this that makes 2 hearts, which is great for my daughter. I was thinking of getting a train cookie cutter to make something train-shaped for my son's Thomas/trains 3rd birthday party coming up, but I saw this and got it instead. I plan to use this for his birthday party and also for his preschool lunches. I don't think he'll be able to resist a train-shaped anything!Another thing that these are good for is to cut one piece of bread, brush the cut-outs with oil seasoned with Italian seasoning, and broil it in the oven. They make great little seasoned toasts that you can spread cream cheese on or serve with pieces of meat and cheese like a cracker.

I bought this to use for my little boys first birthday party. I planned on making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the little ones, but I didn't end up doing it because this didn't work. It didn't look anything like a train. Our bread was fresh and soft and we had a hard time cutting the bread. It ended up looking like a blob and was VERY messy. I was sad it didn't work for us.
