I bought this cookie cutter to make cookies for my young grandson. It works but I would recommend a metal one because plastic cutters aren't as sharp and don't cut the dough with precise edges. By the way, when you make cut out cookies, chill the rolled out dough for 20 minutes before cutting it into shapes. Your cookies will hold their shape so much better in the oven. People who see my cookies think that they are store bought.

The actual cookie cutter size is height (head to front foot) 2.5" and width (slightly diagonally - head to tail) barely 4". It appears that the dimensions given included the hanging mechanism that isn't actually part of the cutter. If the dimensions had been stated correctly, I would have not bought this cutter. Since these were rush shipped for a expedited order, I will be hand cutting dinosaur cookies to meet my customer's requirements.If dimensions were correctly stated, I would have no other issue with this cutter.
